Opening Weekend 1, 2 & 3 May!
Only 2 more weeks before opening weekend! We are working night and day to get everything ready for this exciting 3 day event.
You have the chance to meet inspiring local artists and join in on various creative taster sessions: sculpture making, willow weaving, raku jewellery, print making, glass art, card making, etc. Kids of all ages get hands-on with ‘crazy art’ activities and compete for yummie prizes!
You can try little tasters of the Dutch specialities offered in our café: pannekoeken [pancakes], poffertjes [tiny, tiny pancakes], stroopwafels [syrup waffles], koude schotel [Dutch salad], and more.
Guided tours and talks about ecological gardening, wild flower meadows and herbacious borders are held by Sjaak Kastelijn, the gardens manager of the Museum Gardens in York and the designer of Dutch house ecological sculpture garden.
